Job summary

John Sisk & Son Ltd is seeking a Senior Engineer for our Data Centre team in the Netherlands. The role leads the engineering function, sets strategy for on-site control, and ensures QA procedures are followed with the team and supply chain.

The candidate will manage temporary works coordination, lifting operations, and alignment with the line manager to deliver complex projects with quality and safety at the forefront. A strong background in civil engineering and field surveying is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience with underground services risk control and site surveying.
• Experience on large or complex projects.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and digital information systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee engineering strategy and quality control for projects.
• Manage survey equipment and as-built surveys across interfaces.
• Maintain daily site diary and ensure tolerance compliance.
• Review and create Inspection & Test Plans for multiple packages (concrete, drainage, steelwork, brickwork).
• Issue permits to break ground and manage non-conformance procedures to closure.
• Develop method statements and risk assessments; drive RFI processes to close information gaps.
