Job summary

Optics11 is seeking a Senior Embedded Software Test Engineer to lead the embedded software system-test capability for our sensing interrogator platforms. You will own HIL and system-level test development, automate test orchestration, and ensure release-ready qualification on representative hardware before downstream validation.

You will work across embedded software, FPGA/firmware, electronics, photonics, and product teams, building test frameworks, CI/CD integration, and robust regression

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant technical discipline.
• 5+ years of embedded software testing or related fields.
• Strong Python skills for test automation and lab control.
• Experience with automated test frameworks and regression suites.
• Experience with embedded Linux, hardware interfaces, and diagnostics.

Responsibilities

• Own HIL/system-level test strategy and regression suite for Sensing Platform.
• Translate requirements into test plans, criteria, and automated tests.
• Build/maintain HIL setups with real or simulated sensors and lab equipment.
• Integrate hardware regression testing into CI/CD pipelines.
• Analyze logs and data to identify regressions and defects.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve testability and coverage.
