Job summary

Optics11 is seeking a Senior System Test & Validation Engineer to lead system-level verification across hardware, software, and edge/cloud components. You will translate customer use cases into practical validation plans, create test environments, and perform root-cause analysis to ensure reliable releases.

You will work closely with Product, Systems Engineering, Software, Embedded, Hardware, Algorithms, and Operations, contributing as a senior hands-on ICV engineer and driving risk-based

Qualifications

• BSc or MSc in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, Embedded Systems, Physics, or a related technical discipline.
• 7+ years of relevant experience in system testing, verification & validation, integration testing, or product qualification.
• Experience validating complex multidisciplinary products combining hardware and software.
• Strong understanding of system-level test strategy, risk-based testing, requirements verification, and product qualification.
• Experience translating requirements and customer use cases into practical validation approaches.
• Experience designing system test setups and representative test environments.
• Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills across subsystem boundaries.
• Working knowledge of Linux and networking.
• Experience with automated testing, CI/CD, and modern engineering workflows.
• Experience with requirements traceability and verification evidence.
• Strong communication skills in English and a collaborative working style.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive system-level verification and validation for complex multidisciplinary products.
• Develop validation strategies, test setups, and test campaigns grounded in product understanding and customer use cases.
• Validate complete systems combining hardware, software, Edge, cloud, data processing, and applications.
• Collaborate with Product, Systems Engineering, Software, Embedded, Hardware, Algorithms, Operations, and Manufacturing.
