Job summary

MYLAPS Sports Technology, based in Haarlem, The Netherlands, seeks an experienced Electronics Engineer to lead development for next‑generation timing transponders and related sports technology.

You will own electronics from concept and architecture to PCB design, prototyping, testing and validation in a hands‑on R&D role, with periodic international travel for testing and collaboration.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering or equivalent.
• 7–10+ years of professional experience in electronics or hardware development.
• Strong PCB design experience using Cadence or Altium.
• Experience with RF, Bluetooth and/or Wi‑Fi wireless technology.
• Hands-on prototyping, bring-up, testing and debugging.
• Ability to trade off technical options and deliver robust solutions.
• Interest in emerging technologies and applying them to real products.
• Fluent English; Dutch is a plus.
• Willing to travel internationally.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop electronic hardware and PCBs for MYLAPS products.
• Lead electronics development from concept to prototype and validation.
• Collaborate with production and technology partners to build prototypes.
• Contribute to electronic architecture and technical decisions.
• Explore new technologies for future MYLAPS solutions.
• Build, test, and validate concepts with customers and teams.
• Travel internationally periodically for testing and collaboration.
