Job summary

MYLAPS Software/Firmware Engineer is based in Haarlem, The Netherlands, joining the Product Innovation Team to develop software and firmware for new products moving from innovation to market introduction.

You will work closely with Electronics Engineers to integrate hardware and software, translate requirements into reliable solutions, and test in lab and real-world environments, with growth into existing products over time.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Software Engineering, Embedded Systems, Electrical Engineering, or related technical field.
2+ years of experience in software/firmware/embedded development.
Experience in C++ for microcontrollers.
Strong English; Dutch is a plus.

Responsibilities

Develop and improve software/firmware for new products moving from innovation to market-ready.
Develop software in C++, including low-level code.
Work with microcontrollers and hardware interfaces.
Collaborate with Electronics Engineers to integrate hardware and software.
Translate requirements into reliable software solutions.
Test and validate in lab and real-world environments.
Support maintenance and improvements in Projects over time.
