Job summary

High Tech Source is seeking an Electronics Engineer to own electronics design from initial concept to validated product. You will design BMS circuits and PCBs, validate performance in high-energy systems, and work hands-on in a lab to ensure reliability under demanding conditions.

The role requires 5+ years in PCB design and hardware development, strong Altium skills, and familiarity with CE/IEC/UN38.3. You will collaborate with mechanical, embedded and manufacturing teams to integrate

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering.
• 5+ years of PCB design and hardware development.
• Hands-on with Altium Designer for schematic capture and layout.
• Experience with power electronics, BMS and high-voltage systems.
• Familiar with CE, IEC and UN38.3 compliance and validation.
• Independent work ethic with collaboration across disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Design BMS circuits and PCBs and electrical schematics using Altium Designer.
• Develop robust, manufacturable layouts for intended applications.
• Manage BOMs and participate in component selection and library management.
• Build, rework, prototype and bring-up boards including soldering.
• Debug hardware with lab equipment such as oscilloscopes and power analyzers.
• Test under thermal, vibration and high-voltage conditions.
• Ensure CE/IEC/UN38.3 compliance and document results.
• Collaborate with mechanical, embedded and manufacturing engineers.
• Document specifications, test results and safety procedures.
• Drive improvements in electronics development processes.
