Job summary

Arup is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer in Amsterdam to lead the electrical engineering subdiscipline for medium to large projects. You will design electrical installations, manage quality, deadlines, and budgets, and work with a multidisciplinary team in an international setting.

You should have a completed HBO-level qualification in electrical/building services, 6+ years of experience, and strong proficiency in Revit, Intelec, Dialux, and Stabu, plus fluent Dutch and English.

Qualifications

• Completed HBO-level education in electrical engineering or building services.
• At least 6 years of relevant work experience.
• Demonstrable project references across sizes and market segments.
• Proven knowledge of project management (finance and quality) for medium to large projects.
• Experience with Revit, Intelec, Dialux, and Stabu.
• Excellent communication in Dutch and English.
• Team player and company ambassador.

Responsibilities

• Lead the electrical engineering subdiscipline for medium to large projects.
• Design and oversee electrical installations: power, lighting, emergency power, distribution, fire detection, and evacuation systems.
• Ensure quality, deadlines, and budget adherence within the discipline.
• Conceptualize assignments and translate them into detailed designs.
• Provide high-quality supervision during project execution and coordinate with stakeholders.
