Job summary

Allseas in Eindhoven seeks an Electrical Engineer to design electronics for bespoke equipment. You will define functional interfaces, design PCBs, and create wiring harnesses for our one-off fleet systems, focusing on a system-level approach and rigorous prototyping.

You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, select components, and iterate with testing and end-user feedback to refine the electronics before deployment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics.
• Three to five years of proven experience in developing electronics.
• A fundamental understanding of electrical and electronics design.
• Affinity with KiCAD and EPLAN is beneficial but not strictly required.
• The ability to create structured and logical breakdowns of designs for clear communication.
• A solid understanding of PCB manufacturing techniques and related connection technologies.
• A basic understanding of EMI issues and mitigation strategies.

Responsibilities

• Design the electronics of custom equipment from scratch.
• Create schematics and route PCBs for bespoke systems.
• Prototype and test electronics, then implement adjustments after testing.
