Job summary

Orion Engineering in the Netherlands is seeking a PCB Design Engineer to turn complex electronics concepts into high‑performance products. You will translate schematics into robust PCB layouts and work closely with Electrical and Mechanical Engineers, PCB manufacturers and assembly teams to drive designs from concept to production release.

You bring a Bachelor’s degree in Electronics or Electrical Engineering and hands‑on experience with PCB design tools such as Altium Designer, Cadence Allegro

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Experience with PCB design and layout for electronic products.
• Ability to read electrical schematics.
• Familiarity with PCB design tools (Altium, Cadence Allegro, Mentor Xpedition).
• Knowledge of stack-up design and DfM.
• Understanding of PCB manufacturing and assembly processes.
• Collaborative, hands-on mindset with focus on quality.

Responsibilities

• Translate schematics into robust PCB designs from concept to release.
• Define stack-up, component placement and routing.
• Collaborate with Electrical and Mechanical Engineers, PCB manufacturers and assembly teams.
• Improve manufacturability and reliability of products.
• Apply new PCB technologies and best practices.
• Ensure designs comply with standards and quality targets.
