IHC Mining is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to define the electrical architecture behind our mining equipment and subsea vehicles. You will focus on conceptual thinking, system integration, and multidisciplinary design rather than cable routing or detailed schematics.

You will lead load analyses, high-level studies, and interface documents, coordinating with teams across Brazil, South Africa, and Australia to deliver safe, efficient solutions worldwide.

Competenze

• Higher professional education in Electrical Engineering with experience in concept and basic design.
• Proven experience in similar roles; not suited for junior applicants.
• Experience in oil & gas downstream sector or petrochemicals encouraged.
• Skilled in system integration, power distribution concepts, and functional architecture.
• Able to work in multidisciplinary project teams with global stakeholders.

Mansioni

• Contribute to conceptual and basic electrical design by developing power and control philosophies and high‑level system architectures.
• Perform load analyses, system behavior assessments, power system studies, and functional architectures for detailed engineering.
• Work with sensor networks and integrated monitoring and automation systems to enable safe mining operations worldwide.
• Coordinate work packages with colleagues in Brazil, South Africa and Australia, ensuring timely and high‑quality execution.
• Support FAT/SAT and ensure system validation.
• Contribute to innovation in electrical and automation technologies for mining systems.
