Job summary

Dairy Farmers of America in Amsterdam (Netherlands) seeks a Safety and Compliance Leader to guide our safety program across transportation, OSHA, DOT and environmental policies. You will supervise investigations, manage workers’ compensation and drive continuous improvement through leading indicators and audits.

You will train staff, coordinate risk management, partner with HR, ensure vendor safety, and maintain records.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Health and Safety or related discipline preferred.
• 5 years’ experience as a supervisor/manager in safety in transportation or manufacturing.
• OSHA certifications and Certified Safety Professional.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety culture, identify leading indicators, and conduct audits and investigations.
• Coach employees on safety policies and procedures and drive program adherence.
• Monitor safety performance with KPIs and coordinate transportation safety programs.
• Train and orient new employees on safety practices and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate drug/alcohol testing and manage workers’ compensation cases.
• Maintain records, prepare reports, and liaison with regulatory agencies.
