The role is non-operational, focusing on strategy, governance, commercial alignment, and executive stakeholder management, while mentoring delivery leads and supporting business development.

Qualifications

• Extensive senior leadership experience managing large, enterprise-scale data and AI programs.
• Ability to translate data/AI strategies into actionable plans with ROI.
• Strong commercial acumen including budgets, risk governance and contractual terms.
• Familiarity with regulatory and ethical considerations in data/AI.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement with C-level influence.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain the strategic roadmap for large data and AI programs.
• Serve as senior escalation point on program health, risk and outcomes.
• Oversee governance that embeds data protection and ethical AI practices.
• Review technical strategies from a risk/value perspective.
• Shape commercial terms, scope and delivery models for large engagements.
• Build trusted relationships with executive client stakeholders and governance forums.
• Mentor delivery managers and support business development.
