Job summary

Gartner is seeking a Senior Director in Amsterdam to lead market insights in digital assets, including tokenization, cross-border payments, trading, settlement and custody. You will shape research in collaboration with BTI, producing high-impact content for global clients and events.

You will present complex concepts clearly, mentor junior analysts, and travel up to 25% to engage with executives and clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; graduate degree preferred.
• 12+ years of relevant field or industry experience.
• 3+ years in payments, fintech, enterprise tech, or advisory roles.
• Strong knowledge of tokenization, stablecoins, blockchain and regulatory landscape.
• Familiarity with enterprise processes and architectures integrating digital assets.
• Executive presence with credibility among executives and stakeholders.
• Strong organizational, research and writing skills; ability to meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication, analytics and presentation abilities.

Responsibilities

• Create innovative, thought-provoking, and highly leveraged ‘must-have insights’ content.
• Develop new insights through thought leadership and actionable client solutions.
• Perform in-depth analysis to identify root causes and reframing client needs.
• Establish Insights positions across a team of analysts and mentor colleagues.
• Provide provocative, independent insights to evolve Gartner’s research agenda.
• Research, analyze and predict market trends to deliver actionable insights.
• Offer clients with guidance via virtual or face-to-face interactions.
• Create high-value presentation materials for Gartner events and client briefings.
• Support BTI and Sales as the voice of the market to drive engagement.
• Peer-review content for high quality and timely delivery.
• Represent Gartner’s methodology and strategy to clients and partners.
• Participate in innovation and collaborative research discussions.
