Job summary

NCIM in Brunssum, Netherlands, seeks a Senior Engineer (DevSecOps) to design, implement and deploy secure CI/CD pipelines across CIS environments, enabling reliable software delivery for mission-critical infrastructure.

You will embed security controls and automate testing throughout the SDLC, using IaC and container platforms. The role requires 5+ years in DevSecOps and on-premises experience; NATO SECRET clearance is required. On-site in Brunssum, Netherlands.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical discipline or equivalent experience.
• At least 5 years of experience in DevSecOps, DevOps, software engineering, platform engineering or infrastructure automation.
• Experience supporting secure, on-premises CIS environments, enterprise data centres and mission-critical systems.
• Experience building DevSecOps pipelines, integrating security throughout the SDLC, and implementing Infrastructure as Code, configuration management and automated deployments.
• Experience with containerized and cloud-native technologies hosted on-premises.
• Experience producing technical documentation and operational handover materials.
• Military, defence, government or mission-critical operational experience is desirable.
• NATO SECRET security clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Design, install, configure and integrate DevSecOps platforms, pipelines and automation frameworks.
• Embed security controls, compliance checks and automated security testing throughout the SDLC.
• Perform system testing, validation and acceptance activities; support deployment, migration and operational handover.
• Produce technical designs, architecture diagrams, deployment procedures, security artefacts and operational documentation.
• Coordinate with project teams, architects, security stakeholders and operational authorities.
• Identify and mitigate technical risks, resolve issues and support quality assurance and project governance.
• Provide regular reports covering progress, milestones, deliverables, risks, dependencies, resource use and decisions required.
