Job summary

NCIM is seeking a Senior Engineer (Network) to design, deploy and maintain secure enterprise networks in a demanding, mission-critical environment in Brunssum, Netherlands. The role requires at least five years of hands-on experience with on-prem CIS environments and deployable networks, plus NATO SECRET clearance.

You will develop technical designs, install and integrate core services, and support upgrades, migrations and modernizations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT/Networking or related field.
• At least 5 years designing, implementing and operating enterprise networks.
• Experience with on-prem CIS environments and deployable networks.
• Experience with mission-critical network installations and testing.
• NATO SECRET security clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Develop technical designs; install, configure and integrate network components.
• Perform testing, validation and acceptance activities; support deployments and migrations.
• Support fixed and deployable networks including operation and recovery.
• Monitor network availability and performance; troubleshoot and perform root-cause analysis.
• Maintain architecture diagrams, operating procedures and configuration baselines.
• Coordinate with project teams, security stakeholders and authorities.
• Identify and mitigate risks; provide NCIA reports on progress and decisions.
