Senior DevSecOps Engineer - On-Prem Secure Pipelines

Job summary

Wlgroup, a multinational defence organisation in Brunssum, is seeking a Senior DevSecOps Engineer to design and run the pipelines, automation and platforms behind secure, on-premises systems.

You will design, build and maintain CI/CD pipelines with security testing, develop infrastructure as code, and manage containerised services on Docker and Kubernetes, ensuring secure by default and robust observability.

Qualifications

• Degree in computing, software engineering or cybersecurity, or equivalent experience.
• At least 5 years in DevSecOps, DevOps, platform engineering or infrastructure automation.
• Experience with GitLab, Jenkins or Azure DevOps, plus Terraform/Ansible or Puppet and Python, Bash or PowerShell.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes, container security and image management.
• Experience with Linux and Windows Server, virtualization, and monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana or Elastic.
• At least one of CKA, Terraform Associate or DCA, and one security certification such as Security+, GSEC or ISC2 CC

Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain CI/CD pipelines with security testing built in.
• Develop infrastructure as code and automate provisioning, config and deployment.
• Deploy and support containerised services on Docker and Kubernetes.
• Run SAST, DAST, dependency scanning, secrets management and vulnerability management.
• Set up monitoring, logging and observability.
• Write deployment procedures, architecture diagrams and security artefacts and handover documentation
