Job summary

Eddy Grid is seeking a Lead DevOps Engineer to own the infrastructure end-to-end, from PaaS migration to AWS with Terraform. You will secure, scale, and automate across production workloads and AI-enabled workflows, partnering with developers in a hybrid Delft-based setup.

Lead the platform’s transition, drive security maturity for NIS2 and Cbw, and mentor an expanding infra team while ensuring uptime for mission-critical energy trading systems.

Qualifications

• Extensive AWS production workloads experience.
• Terraform IaC with reusable modules design.
• Docker and ECS container orchestration expertise.
• Strong cybersecurity background with cloud networking and IAM.
• Experience leading large infrastructure changes, including cloud migrations.
• Proficient in CI/CD, observability, and incident management.
• Production experience with PostgreSQL, Redis, and Celery.

Responsibilities

• Drive security across development and production across accounts.
• Lead compliance work for NIS2 and the Cbw.
• Own AWS infrastructure (ECS, EC2, S3) and build with Terraform.
• Plan migration of production workloads to AWS with minimal downtime.
• Set up safe environments for AI agents with limited access.
• Own CI/CD pipelines in GitHub Actions and Docker release process.
• Establish monitoring, alerting, and incident response in production.
• Assist in hiring new infrastructure engineers.
