Job summary
Bennet & Boss is seeking a Deepwater Umbilical Installation Engineer to enhance engineering and offshore execution for complex deepwater projects. The role requires expertise in multi-tube umbilicals and entails responsibility for installation analyses, OrcaFlex modelling, and procedure development.
Ideal candidates will have over 5 years’ experience in deepwater engineering, strong knowledge of vertical lay systems, and a practical, solution-oriented mindset. This position may require international travel and offshore work.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in deepwater installation engineering for umbilicals.
- Strong expertise with Vertical Lay Systems (VLS) and OrcaFlex.
- Experience in subsea or deepwater offshore installations.
Responsibilities
- Prepare installation calculations and procedures for deepwater activities.
- Perform and review OrcaFlex modelling and translate results.
- Support installation equipment processes including VLS systems.
