Job summary

GeekSoft Consulting in Utrecht seeks a skilled Data Scientist/Data Engineer to design, build and evolve the client’s transaction monitoring data platform. You will work with Python, PySpark, Databricks and Airflow to process large data volumes and ensure data quality across global sources.

You will contribute to a monorepository, onboard new regions, and collaborate with Rabobank data producers and developers to deliver scalable, production-ready data solutions. English proficiency mandatory.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Data Scientist or Data Engineer.
• Strong hands-on Python and PySpark coding skills.
• Experience with Databricks and Airflow for scalable data processing.
• Familiarity with data modeling for transaction monitoring.
• English proficiency required; Dutch not required but a plus.

Responsibilities

• Help design, build and continuously improve the client's online platform.
• Research, suggest and implement new technology solutions following best practices/standards.
• Take responsibility for the resiliency and availability of different products.
• Be a productive member of the team.
