Job summary

Appsierra Group is seeking a Data Scientist specialized in transaction monitoring to design and enhance the data model and manage large-scale data pipelines. You will develop production‑ready PySpark code and collaborate with Rabobank data producers to ensure data quality and availability.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years of experience, a Master’s in a STEM field, and strong English communication skills. Databricks and Azure experience are a plus, as is medallion architecture knowledge.

Qualifications

At least 4 years of relevant work experience.
Experience as a Data Scientist or Data Engineer.
Strong proficiency with Python and PySpark.
Professional proficiency in English and strong communication skills.
Master’s degree in Computer Science, AI, Mathematics, Information Studies or comparable STEM field.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain the transaction monitoring data model for global data sources.
Write and optimise production‑ready PySpark code to process large data flows at scale.
Help build and maintain a monorepository and onboard new regions to the data model.
Coordinate with data producers across Rabobank to ensure data quality and availability.
Collaborate with developers creating transaction monitoring logic, providing reliable data.
