Job summary

Gazelle Global seeks a Data Scientist/Data Engineer in Utrecht, Netherlands to work on the international data model for transaction monitoring. You will utilize PySpark, Python and Databricks to process large data flows and deliver scalable, production-ready code.

You will collaborate with Rabobank data producers and experts to implement transaction monitoring logic. You will detect money laundering and terrorist financing signals while handling high data volumes, and contribute to a global data

Qualifications

As a preferred supplier to one of our biggest financial clients, I am seeking for an Data Scientist for a position in Utrecht, Netherlands. As a Data Scientist/ Data Engineer, you work on the international data model for transaction monitoring. You use PySpark, Python and Databricks to process large data flows and make them scalable. You write production-ready code and work with data producers from across Rabobank and experts who develop transaction monitoring logic.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and improve the transaction monitoring data model.
• Work with PySpark, Databricks and Airflow.

• Write and optimise production-ready code to process large data flows at scale.

Requirements:

• At least 4 years of relevant work experience.
• Experience as a Data Scientist / Data Engineer.
