Job summary

Catawiki is seeking a Senior Machine Learning Data Scientist to join the Data Team in Amsterdam. You will build scalable ML models, work with product and development teams, and apply advanced statistics to drive business value.

You’ll deploy models on cloud infrastructure with Kubernetes, collaborate across disciplines, and leverage tools like PyTorch/TensorFlow, Docker, and BigQuery to power data-driven decisions. This is a hybrid role with relocation options.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a data scientist or ML engineer.
• Strong Python and SQL programming skills.
• Experience building and deploying ML models at scale.
• Solid statistical and machine learning foundations.
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Build production-ready ML models and data products within the product offering.
• Explore large mobile/web datasets to identify ML opportunities and solve real business problems.
• Deploy scalable models using cloud infrastructure and Kubernetes, enabling real-time and batch predictions.
• Collaborate with product owners, developers, UX designers, and analysts to identify improvements and new use cases.
• Translate business requirements into robust data-driven solutions and insights.
