Job summary

Xccelerated is seeking a Senior Data Scientist in Amsterdam with a hybrid work arrangement. You will work at the intersection of Data Science and ML Engineering, turning data into scalable models and tools to help planners and crews make faster, better decisions.

You will build production-ready AI/ML models for flight delays, maintenance planning, and crew scheduling, while collaborating on large optimization projects and real-time data initiatives.

Qualifications

• Background in Data Science, Business Analytics, or Operations Research.
• 4-6 years of work experience as a Data Scientist or ML.
• Hands-on experience with modeling, analysis and production deployment.
• Knowledge of Spark, Kafka, Airflow or Kubernetes.

Responsibilities

• Extract insights from operational and flight data sources.
• Build and productionize AI/ML models to predict flight delays and optimize planning.
• Contribute to large-scale optimization and simulation projects.
• Develop tools to make complex processes transparent for planners and crews.
• Work with real-time data to improve passenger and crew experience.
