Job summary

Awin Benelux in Amsterdam, Netherlands, is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to drive advanced analytics, ML, forecasting, and recommendation systems. You will build end-to-end feature pipelines and MVPs, balancing rapid experimentation with scalable production solutions.

You will collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Data teams to identify opportunities, define success metrics, and translate business challenges into practical data-driven solutions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Data Scientist, ML Engineer, or similar.
• Proven deployment of ML and analytical solutions to production with measurable impact.
• Advanced proficiency in Python and data science libraries (NumPy, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow/PyTorch).

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end ML projects from discovery to deployment and business impact.
• Collaborate with Product, Commercial, Engineering and Data teams to translate challenges into data-driven solutions.
• Design robust evaluation frameworks and success metrics to measure outcomes.
• Mentor data scientists and promote best practices across the team.
• Communicate findings clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
