Job summary

Roamler is seeking a Senior Data Scientist in Amsterdam to drive the AI/ML platform and data science products across multiple EU markets. You will own production ML/NLP pipelines, including embeddings, matching, and LLM-based components, working with data engineers to scale PoCs into production.

The role requires 5+ years in data science, strong Python/Spark experience, cloud hosting (AWS/Azure), and fluency in English.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in a quantitative field or related discipline.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience as a Data Scientist.
• Proven track record of bringing LLMs into production including prompt design, evaluation, and cost/latency tradeoffs.

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve ML/NLP enrichment pipelines and services powering data applications.
• Design, build, and productionize LLM-based components such as enrichment, classification, and entity matching.
• Collaborate with data engineers to move PoCs into production and write production-quality code.
• Identify opportunities in the data lake and align requirements with business stakeholders.
