Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with data modelling and enterprise architecture.
• Proven experience in data warehousing, BI/reporting and enterprise modelling.
• Expertise in modelling methodologies such as Data Vault, Kimball, Inmon, Graph.
• Strong abstract thinking and ability to design solutions at multiple levels.
• Familiar with data lineage and data architecture.
• Proficient with modelling tools PowerDesigner, ER/Studio, Sparx EA and dbt.

Responsibilities

• Lead the creation and implementation of enterprise-level data models.
• Drive modelling standards and best practices across projects and domains.
• Act as sparring partner on data governance, definitions, and quality.
• Facilitate sessions to define key data entities and relationships with stakeholders.
• Align with architects, analysts and engineers to integrate models into scalable solutions.
• Coach and support mid-level and junior consultants in modelling techniques and tooling.
• Help develop Valcon’s internal modelling frameworks, best practices and solutions.
• Be an active contributor to the Valcon modelling community.
