Qualifications

• Around 5 years of experience as a Data Engineer.
• Hands-on experience with Scala.
• Knowledge of Spark, Kafka, Airflow or Kubernetes.
• Comfortable scaling from a single machine to distributed systems.

Responsibilities

• Build, secure, and manage reliable data pipelines and data flows from multiple internal and external sources
• Integrate data into cloud-based platforms to support analytics and operational tools, ensuring platform scalability
• Collaborate closely with data scientists, product owners, and business analysts on data-driven aviation projects
• Support and maintain the data infrastructure behind advanced AI tools, including predictive maintenance models, disruption decision-support systems, and applications that help reduce operational waste
• Manage active data integrations across operations, fleet maintenance, and e-commerce systems within a cloud environment
