Job summary

OCTA Farmacie Groep in the Netherlands is seeking an experienced data engineer to help build our data warehouse, owning the product and coordinating with business stakeholders.

You will work within a team with a Tech Lead and Product Owner, translating requirements into scalable solutions and delivering dashboards to internal clients.

The role offers a 40-hour week, hybrid work two days in the office, a monthly gross salary between €5,800 and €7,800, and a path to a permanent position.

Qualifications

• Senior-level full-stack development experience.
• Strong backend with Python.
• Experience with modern web architectures and API design.
• Experience leading a domain or product.
• Clear separation between Tech Lead and product responsibilities.
• Strong communication and business-minded.
• Excellent Dutch language skills (speaking & writing).
• Experience with AI/ prompting (LLMs or AI integrations).

Responsibilities

• Translating business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Writing production-ready code that connects external data sources to our data warehouse.
• Making data from the data warehouse available to internal clients via dashboards.
• Actively communicating with internal clients and stakeholders.
• Ensuring code quality, architecture and best practices (in line with Tech Lead guidelines).
