Job summary

KPN's DataFan NDM team in the Netherlands is seeking a Senior/Medior hands-on Data Engineer to build production-grade data pipelines in a cloud environment. You will leverage Informatica or similar ETL tools, design scalable data models, and collaborate with cross-functional teams in Dutch and English.

The role focuses on data warehousing concepts, batch and near-real-time processing, and modern data architectures across Fabric, IDMC, and Teradata tools.

Qualifications

• Experience building production-grade data pipelines in a cloud environment.
• Strong SQL skills and ability to write optimized queries for large datasets.
• Proficient in Dutch and English, written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize data pipelines and workflows to support ETL/ELT processes.
• Collaborate within an Agile DevOps team to develop, test, and release user stories.
• Support day-to-day operations ensuring data systems run efficiently and within SLA.
• Contribute ideas to improve data architecture and processes.
• Involve in requirements gathering, solution design, and data analysis for data-driven decisions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and operations teams to deliver scalable products.
