Job summary

All Your BI, a remote-first data agency based in Rotterdam, seeks a data professional to build end-to-end pipelines in Azure, model data in the Data Vault, and deliver Power BI reports for clients across Europe.

You will own data quality, work with T-SQL, Data Factory, Data Lake Gen2, and Azure SQL, and communicate with remote teams in English. The role requires ~5 years in data engineering with warehouse experience.

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on data engineering and warehouse development experience.
• Strong relational data modelling with Data Vault 2.0 familiarity preferred.
• Deep knowledge of T-SQL, stored procedures and transformations.
• Hands-on Azure data stack: ADF, Data Lake Gen2, Azure SQL.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain end-to-end pipelines in the Azure stack, ingesting source data into the Data Lake and Azure SQL, orchestrated with Azure Data Factory.
• Develop the data warehouse layers from raw staging through the Data Vault and Business Vault into the dimensional Data Mart, primarily in T-SQL.
• Write and optimise stored procedures for transformation and loading (full, incremental and delete loads), including watermark-driven incremental processing.
• Model data correctly, designing hubs, links and satellites in the vault, and conformed facts and dimensions in the mart.
• Investigate and understand source systems so the model reflects what the data means.
• Deliver in Power BI, building datasets/semantic models and reports yourself.
• Own data quality, building validation and monitoring into the platform, and debugging pipelines and DB projects.
• Wear the analyst hat, profiling new datasets, answering data questions, and validating numbers.
