Job summary

FrieslandCampina in Wageningen, NL, seeks a Senior Process Development Specialist to lead the design, development and optimization of dairy processing systems with a strong focus on preservation and CIP. You will drive data-driven performance improvements and support factory and project teams across our production network.

Qualifications

• Master's degree (WO) with at least 10 years of relevant experience in dairy process design.
• Senior specialist in dairy process design with depth in preservation technology and CIP.
• Provides technical guidance and collaborates across factories, projects and technology teams.

Responsibilities

• Takes ownership of complex process design and development assignments from concept to factory implementation.
• Provides coaching to a wider group and helps build process engineering capability.
• Converts requirements into practical dairy process concepts and designs for new lines or improvements.
• Develops and improves dairy preservation processes focusing on performance, quality and robustness.
• Applies CIP and hygienic engineering principles to optimize cleaning and process efficiency.
• Uses data to understand equipment behavior and develops dashboards to support data-driven decisions.
• Provides process technology leadership for projects typically below €10M, depending on scope.
