Star is seeking a Senior Cost Engineer to review and validate project cost estimation, budgeting, and financial planning processes in Rotterdam. The role involves collaborating with project teams to provide cost-effective estimates in alignment with schedules and execution plans.

The ideal candidate has 5–10 years of experience in cost engineering and cost control, with preference for experience in construction, engineering, oil & gas sectors, and must be based in The Netherlands.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Finance, or a related field. A professional certification (e.g., AACE, PMP, CCE) is a plus.
• Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in cost engineering, project cost control, or a similar role. Experience in construction, engineering, oil & gas preferred.
• Has to be based in The Netherlands already, Employee only!

This role involves developing and controlling cost estimates, analyzing cost variances, and ensuring that projects are completed within approved budgets. The Cost Engineer collaborates with project managers, engineers, finance teams, and other stakeholders to provide financial insights and support effective decisionmaking.

Education
