Bennetboss is seeking a Senior Cost Engineer to manage and control project costs from early estimates to completion. You will work with project managers, engineers, and finance to develop reliable budgets and forecasts, monitor performance, and provide insights for decision-making.

Role focuses on cost control, analysis of variances, and risk assessment across complex projects, ensuring financial transparency and project success.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Finance, or related field.
• 5 to 10 years of experience in cost engineering or project cost control.
• Experience in a project-driven environment with cost management focus.
• Strong analytical and reporting skills; knowledge of cash and invoice management.
• Certification such as AACE, PMP, or CCE preferred.

Profile Senior Cost Engineer

Do you enjoy influencing the financial performance of complex projects from the initial estimate through to project completion? Are you motivated by analysing costs, challenging assumptions, and improving project performance?

We are looking for a Senior Cost Engineer to manage and control project costs throughout the entire project lifecycle.

In this position, you will work closely with project managers, engineers, and finance professionals to develop reliable cost estimates, budgets, and forecasts. You will provide valuable financial insights to support decision-making and help ensure projects remain on track financially. By monitoring cost performance, identifying variances, and evaluating financial risks, you will contribute directly to successful project delivery. Your expertise will play a key role in maintaining effective cost control and financial transparency.

Requirements Senior Cost Engineer

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Finance, or a related field
• 5 to 10 years of experience in cost engineering, project cost control, or a similar role
• Experience working in a project-driven environment
• Knowledge of cost control, budgeting, and forecasting
• Experience with project cost management and performance management
• Strong analytical and reporting skills
• Based in the Netherlands or eligible to work in the Netherlands
• Experience within the construction, engineering, or oil & gas industry
• Knowledge of cash management
• Experience with invoice management
• Understanding of contractual and commercial project aspects
• Professional certification such as AACE, PMP, or CCE
• Experience with risk management and internal controls
