Job summary

Hawksford is seeking a qualified Senior Legal Officer – Corporate to manage a portfolio of complex client companies from a legal, compliance, and corporate secretarial perspective. This role involves mentoring a team of junior legal officers and ensuring adherence to corporate law and regulatory frameworks.

You will handle legal support for account managers and directors, while collaborating with banks and advisors. A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in relevant law and 2–5 years of experience are required.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of relevant professional legal experience, including a minimum of 3 years in a legal role.
• Strong working knowledge of Dutch AML legislation, including the Wtt and Wwft.
• Excellent command of English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• First point of contact in relation to the legal and compliance matters of the client company.
• Preparation and review of Client Acceptance Files.
• Opening of bank accounts and cash management.
• Preparation of agreements and corporate documents.
