Job summary

Hawksford is seeking a qualified and experienced Legal Officer (Interim) to join our team in Amsterdam for up to 6 months. This role involves managing a portfolio of client companies, providing legal support, and ensuring compliance with corporate law and regulations.

The ideal candidate will hold a degree in law, have 2–5 years of relevant experience, and possess strong knowledge of Dutch AML legislation. Excellent English communication skills are essential, and a basic understanding of Dutch is preferred.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of relevant professional legal experience, including a minimum of 3 years in a legal role.
• Strong working knowledge of Dutch AML legislation, including the Wtt and Wwft.
• Excellent command of English, both written and spoken; good understanding of Dutch preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of client companies from a legal, compliance, and corporate secretarial perspective.
• Prepare and review Client Acceptance Files.
• Open bank accounts and manage cash.
• Prepare agreements and corporate documents.
• Assist in meetings with clients and advisors.
• Consult with banks, lawyers, and governmental institutions.
