Job summary

All About Expats is seeking a Controller in Haarlemmermeer, the Netherlands. You will coordinate administrative processes, analyze and prepare reports for management, and act as sparring partner to budget holders.

You will manage periodic closings, reconciliations, and VAT checks, with focus on IFRS awareness, Excel mastery, and clear communication in Dutch and English. Flexible/remote work is available.

Qualifications

• Completed college education towards Business Economics or Accountancy.
• 5+ years of relevant work experience in a similar position.
• Experience consolidating figures and preparing reports.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate administrative processes and control the general ledger.
• Prepare balance sheet specifications and liquidity forecasts.
• Serve as sparring partner for budget holders and internal stakeholders.
• Handle periodic closings and reconciliations.
• Support the annual audit and coordination with the accountant.
• Improve processes and reporting systems.
• Explain complex financial information to stakeholders clearly.
