Job summary

Siemens Mobility is seeking a Finance Controlling Lead to manage all financial aspects of hardware, firmware, and software development projects, ensuring transparent reporting and accurate tracking.

You will partner with R&D leadership and project managers, oversee contract and license management, drive strategic decisions through forward-looking analysis, and advance digital reporting tools across the eMobility organization.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in economics with a focus on finance and controlling.
• Experience in controlling, financial planning, accounting, or management consulting.
• Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, and BI/reporting tools.
• SAP knowledge is an advantage.
• Fluent business English.

Responsibilities

• Lead R&D controlling by managing financial aspects of hardware, firmware, and software development projects with accurate monitoring.
• Oversee contract and license management with international R&D hubs, ensuring compliance and transfer pricing alignment.
• Act as a Finance Business Partner for R&D leadership and project managers, driving decisions through analysis.
• Enhance and digitalize reporting tools and processes for data-driven decisions across the eMobility community.
• Serve as a key user for R&D planning and reporting tools, collaborating with PLM commercial management and performance controlling teams.

Your mission will be…

• You take the lead in R&D controlling by managing all financial aspects of hardware, firmware, and software development projects, ensuring accurate monitoring and transparency.
• Building on this, you oversee contract and license management in close cooperation with international R&D hubs, making sure processes align with compliance and transfer pricing standards.
• In addition, you act as a Finance Business Partner for R&D leadership and project managers, driving strategic decisions through detailed analysis and forward-looking recommendations.
• To support efficient workflows, you further enhance and digitalize reporting tools and processes, enabling data-driven decisions across the eMobility community.
• Finally, you serve as a key user for R&D planning and reporting tools while closely collaborating with PLM commercial management and performance controlling teams.

We are looking for someone with…

• Education: You hold a master's degree in economics with a focus on finance and controlling
• Experience & Skills
  • Longterm experience in controlling, financial planning, accounting, or management consulting
  • Strong proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and experience with financial reporting tools and BI applications
  • Familiarity with R&D reporting tools; SAP knowledge is an advantage
• Ways of working: You are a curious, critical thinker with a proactive mindset, strong ownership, and a collaborative spirit
• Languages: You are fluent in English at business level;
