Job summary

Neways-Electronics-International-Nv is seeking a Senior Continuous Improvement Specialist to lead Lean and Six Sigma initiatives in a high-mix, low-volume production setting. You will drive improvements, translating data into actionable strategies and partnering with Quality, Engineering, and Supply Chain to deliver sustained impact.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in technical or business management.
• Black Belt Certification is a plus.
• Strong command of English; Dutch preferred.

The Senior Continuous Improvement Specialist takes a leading role in the improvement team and supports the Operations Manager and the production organization with the challenges of managing a large production operation. The focus will primarily be on production, but with strong cross-functional elements, particularly in Quality, Engineering, and Supply Chain. You are expected to initiate and facilitate changes, working closely with the organization to implement strategic plans and initiatives.

• A completed technical or business management bachelor’s or master’s degree
• Relevant work experience in a production environment and a completed Black Belt Certification is a plus

Your daily responsibilities include

The Senior Continuous Improvement Specialist uses Lean and Six Sigma methods to solve problems that do not have clear-cut solutions. Neways NAA focuses on high-mix, low-volume production, which brings a unique dynamic and complexity. You translate data into valuable information and realize improvements. You work with several Continuous Improvement colleagues and the broader organization to implement and sustain improvements.

• Initiating, guiding, and implementing improvement projects that drive Neways NAA’s growth and control
• Supporting the development of NAA’s “strategic/operational” goals
• Guiding and supporting large improvement programs
• Optimizing the current improvement structure within NAA
• Implementing lean management methods (e.g., standard work for leaders, 6S, Kaizen workshops, value stream mapping, SMED)
• Training and coaching colleagues with Lean Production methods to support goal achievement
