Amaris Consulting is seeking a Senior Consultant Software Architect (F/M/X) for the Best, NL area to join a high‑tech innovation environment focused on interventional procedures.

You will design and develop high‑performance software for 3D imaging, translate roadmaps into robust software architectures, and own technical design decisions from prototype to release, collaborating with international Agile teams.

Qualifikationen

• > MSc degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Math, Electrical Eng or related field.
• > 10+ years in professional software development, incl. 3+ years as Architect/Staff/Principal/Technical Product Owner.
• > Strong hands-on experience with modern C++, preferably C++20.
• > Knowledge of 3D rendering, DirectX/OpenGL, computational geometry, or 3D visualization.
• > Deep understanding of software architecture, design patterns, SOLID, Clean Architecture and TDD.
• > Experience developing high-performance software and writing maintainable code.
• > Experience in Agile/Scrum with distributed/external teams.
• > Knowledge of Git/GitHub, packaging, configuration management, Docker, orchestration, cloud tech and deployment.

As a Senior Consultant, you will be embedded in a high‑tech innovation environment, contributing to the design and development of advanced software used to support interventional procedures. You will work on applications and supporting platforms, combining hands‑on C++ development, software architecture, technical design and collaboration with international Agile teams.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop high-performance software for 3D imaging and image-guided medical applications.

Skills & Experience

• MSc degree, or equivalent experience, in Computer Science, Mathematics, Electrical Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• 10+ years of professional software development experience, including at least 3 years in a role such as Software Architect, Staff Engineer, Principal Engineer or Technical Product Owner.
• Strong hands‑on experience with modern C++, preferably C++20.
• Practical knowledge of 3D rendering, DirectX, OpenGL, computational geometry, computer graphics or 3D visualisation.
• Strong understanding of software architecture, design patterns, SOLID principles, Clean Architecture and Test-Driven Development.
• Experience developing high-performance software and writing efficient, maintainable and testable code.
• Experience working in Agile and Scrum environments with distributed or external development teams.
• Knowledge of Git or GitHub, package management, configuration management, Docker, orchestration tools, cloud technologies and deployment systems.
• Ability to create clear technical documentation and communicate architecture, risks and design decisions to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience with medical imaging, image processing, healthcare software, medical devices or software supporting clinical procedures is an advantage.
