Job summary

Anderson MacGyver is a management consulting firm in IJsselstein, the Netherlands, seeking a Senior Consultant Organization & Sourcing. You will lead complex advisory engagements in designing and implementing (digital) organizations, sourcing strategy, and vendor governance, and act as a trusted executive partner for C-level leaders.

Requirements include a Master's degree in a relevant field, 6+ years in consulting or senior staff roles, and fluency in Dutch and English.

Responsibilities

• Advise executive boards and management teams on governance and structural decisions, make-or-buy, insourcing, and outsourcing.
• Coach colleagues and contribute to the knowledge development of the practice.
• Actively contribute to business development, relationship management, and proposition development.

What will you do?

As a Senior Consultant Organization & Sourcing, you will take a leading role in complex advisory engagements focused on designing and implementing (digital) organizations, sourcing strategy, and (vendor) governance. You are a subject‑matter expert and a trusted thought partner for executive and C‑level leadership. You combine strategic sharpness with hands‑on involvement in execution.

What You Will Be Doing

• Lead advisory and implementation engagements related to organizational design, including teams, roles, responsibilities, scale, ways of working, and governance
• Develop sourcing strategies, business cases, and implementation plans, and manage the teams responsible for execution
• Advise executive boards and management teams on governance and structural decisions, make‑or‑buy, insourcing, and outsourcing
• Coach colleagues and contribute to the knowledge development of the practice
• Actively contribute to business development, relationship management, and proposition development

Every week offers a mix of analysis, design, guidance, and collaboration in a team, with and for our clients. On Fridays, we come together at the office to develop our practice further. We discuss current market themes and use those conversations to develop our own concepts and approaches.

What is required?

• Master's degree in Organizational Science, Business Administration, Technology, Public Administration, or a comparable field
• At least 6 years of experience in a consulting environment or a relevant senior staff role
• In-depth knowledge of (tech and data) organizational models, ways of working, IT sourcing, and (vendor) governance
• Proven track record leading complex advisory and change management engagements
• Strong stakeholder management skills, with experience at the executive and C‑level
• Fluent in Dutch and English; international experience is a plus
