Job summary

FiSer Consulting is seeking a Senior Insurance Consultant to lead transformation projects for insurers, guiding teams from problem framing to delivery. You’ll advise on regulatory change and digital transformation, building strong relationships with clients and stakeholders across the Dutch market.

You’ll join a growing consultancy with an entrepreneurial culture, contributing to knowledge sharing, proposition development and business development while working in a hybrid setup from Amsterdam.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in insurance, financial services or consulting.

What you'll work on

As a Senior Insurance Consultant, you'll lead transformation projects for our insurance clients, working alongside experienced consultants and client teams to structure challenges, develop solutions and support implementation from start to finish.

• Lead and manage complex transformation projects in the insurance sector.
• Manage project delivery, ensuring clear communication, transparency and actionable insights.
• Advise clients on regulatory change, digital transformation and operational improvement.
• Create clear insights, recommendations and senior stakeholder updates.
• Build trusted relationships with insurers and key industry stakeholders.
• Mentor consultants and support multidisciplinary project teams.
• Contribute to FiSer's Insurance practice through knowledge sharing, proposition development and business-development support.

What we're looking for

We're looking for an experienced professional with strong knowledge of insurance, financial services and business transformation.

• A Master's degree in Business, Economics, Finance or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience in insurance, financial services or consulting.
• Experience in leading transformation, change-management or implementation projects.
• Knowledge of insurance industry regulations, operating models and technology developments.
• Strong project-management and stakeholder-management skills.
• Strong analytical skills and a practical, can-do mindset.
• An existing network within the Dutch insurance market is a plus.
• Fluent Dutch and English
• Currently based in the Netherlands with valid work authorisation.
