Job summary

PwC Nederland is seeking a Senior Consultant Digital Transformation to drive multidisciplinary projects, shaping digital and IT strategies, and advising on financial reporting and controls.

You will work in teams across deals, ERP, tech, and data analytics, with client offices or PwC, and with a focus on staying ahead through coaching, knowledge sharing, and a "trusted boardroom advisor" mindset.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience in digital/transformations in complex environments.
• University degree in business/IT or related.
• Affinity with financial reporting rules (RA/RC training a plus).
• Experience with IT, digitalisation, information management, or data/software development.
• Motivated to advise clients on IT operations and process optimisation.
• Understanding of AI, Cloud, and RPA; open to alliance partner solutions.

In our digital transformation team, we work on complex transformation projects, where the impact of new laws and regulations (e.g. CSRD, SBR), reporting requirements and changes in the IT landscape play a crucial role. We work closely with our clients to make optimal use of technology during these complex processes (e.g. during an IPO, merger or acquisition), stimulate innovation and help them transform to a future-proof and agile business model.

This Is What You'll Do

As a Senior Consultant Digital Transformation, you will mostly operate in multidisciplinary teams (including deals & technical accounting experts, ERP & technology specialists, software developers and data analysts) to successfully execute challenging digital transformation projects. Your role for a particular project will be the one best suited to the specific transformation project: from strategic reorientation, to choosing technology, to actual implementation and process optimisation.

• Developing and shaping digital and IT strategies and solutions along with the associated road maps for the client, which are necessary for the success of the digital transformation (e.g. during an IPO or major transformation).
• Working out business requirements (functional and non-functional) in a multidisciplinary team to optimise the organisation, processes, systems and reporting.
• Advising clients on how to optimise their financial reporting processes and comply with relevant legislation.
• Identifying operational and financial risks and implementing and/or automating controls.
• Building a relationship of trust with our clients, actively challenging them based on your expertise and expanding our client portfolio.
• Coaching colleagues in the areas of personal growth and development of various consulting skills.

In addition, you can create powerful reports and visuals and give convincing presentations for (senior) management.

• You have at least two to three years of relevant work experience with digital and other transformation projects in complex environments.
• You have a university degree in a subject such as technical or non-technical business administration, financial management, information management or similar.
• You have an affinity with financial reporting rules (RA or RC training is a plus) or open to further develop this knowledge.
• You have demonstrable experience and affinity with IT, digitalisation, information management and/or advanced technical skills in data and software development.
• You are motivated to advise clients on how to optimise their IT operations, financial & operational processes, associated systems & controls.
• You have an understanding of emerging technologies, such as AI, Cloud, RPA and are open to further explore innovative solutions from our alliance partners (including Workiva, SAP, Workday, Microsoft).
• You are people-oriented and socially adept in political, dynamic and complex environments. You are also creative when it comes to managing different stakeholders.
• You are able to draw up powerful reports and give convincing presentations to senior management.
• You are fluent in Dutch and English, both spoken and written.
