Job summary

John Sisk & Son in the Netherlands is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead large, technically challenging projects, taking responsibility for the delivery of major works. You will report to the Project/Regional Director and manage planning, coordination and on‑site delivery in line with the Sisk strategy.

The role requires a proven track record of at least ten years in construction management, strong communication, and hands‑on leadership of safety, environmental, quality and commercial

Qualifications

• Good written and verbal communication with clients and colleagues.
• Ten years' experience in construction management with a national/regional contractor.
• Strong analytical and proactive planning abilities.

Responsibilities

• Establish and monitor key stage programmes.
• Set up site and maintain site security and presentation.
• Take possession of the site, plan and coordinate trades activities.
• Interpret drawings and communicate directions to teams.
• Ensure method statements and risk assessments are completed for high‑risk activities.
• Solicit information from the professional team and follow verbal instructions.
• Assist with approvals to progress with minimal risk (e.g., hoarding licence).
• Review buildability and identify advantageous construction methods.
• Implement environmental controls with the Environmental Co-ordinator.
• Attend site and internal meetings, circulate notes and actions.
