Job summary

Sisk is seeking a Senior Contracts Manager to lead on-site delivery of civil engineering projects, ensuring quality, safety, and financial performance while coordinating contract requirements and client expectations.

You will manage preconstruction, construction, and close-out activities, lead the project team, liaise with stakeholders and the supply chain, and drive continuous improvement in alignment with HSEQS policies.

Qualifications

• Professional qualification in construction (degree or equivalent), ideally chartered.
• IOSH Managing Safely (or equivalent) Health & Safety certification.
• Temporary Works Coordinator and Excavation Safety training.
• Knowledge of permitting requirements for live energy works.
• Training/competence in Working at Heights, Scaffolding, and Lifting & Cranage operations.
• Familiarity with Behavioural Safety, Root Cause Analysis, and PSCS/CDM requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead preparation of project programmes, method statements, and contract submissions.
• Develop and manage the contract programme, in collaboration with Estimating during tender stage.
• Instruct the QS on major preliminary expenditure and oversee subcontract buying schedule.
• Chair project start-up and production meetings and support resource allocation.
• Monitor progress against programme and drive timely achievement of Practical Completion.
