Job summary

Jobgether SRL is seeking a Senior Compliance Officer (Regulatory Focus) based in the Netherlands. You will strengthen regulatory compliance across a rapidly evolving crypto and payments environment, with a focus on licensing, regulatory documentation, and engagement with regulators and external counsel.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in regulatory compliance including fintech/payments/cryptoassets.
• Draft and maintain regulatory applications, policies, and AML/CFT frameworks.
• Experience with EMI/PI/CASP/VASP or similar authorisation frameworks.
• Fluent English with strong regulatory drafting and written communication.
• Willingness to travel within the EU.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to licensing programmes and AML/CFT frameworks, governance, and outsourcing docs.
• Create regulatory matrices, evidence trackers, and document-control processes.
• Coordinate responses to RFIs and regulator/consultant requests.
• Draft and maintain policies, procedures, risk assessments, and controls.
• Track commitments and ensure controls are implemented effectively.
• Provide compliance guidance on products, partners, jurisdictions, and business model changes.
• Review AML, sanctions, CDD/KYB, and transaction-monitoring escalations.
• Monitor regulatory developments and assess policy impact.
• Conduct gap analyses, risk assessments, and remediation coordination.
• Support regulatory reporting, audits, and supervisory engagements.
• Provide compliance training to stakeholders.
