Job summary

Lever, Inc. in the Netherlands seeks a Senior Compliance Officer (Regulatory Focus) to strengthen regulatory compliance across a rapidly evolving crypto and payments environment.

You will lead licensing applications, AML/CFT frameworks, regulatory documentation, and regulator engagement, translating complex requirements into practical controls and robust documentation, while collaborating with senior leadership across functions. This is a high-ownership role with cross‑jurisdictional impact.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in regulatory compliance in payments, crypto, or fintech environments.
• Hands-on drafting of regulatory applications, policies, and AML/CFT frameworks with clear ownership.
• Experience with EMI/PI/CASP/VASP authorisation regimes and regulatory RFIs is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to licensing applications and regulatory programmes across multiple jurisdictions.
• Draft, review, and maintain compliance policies, procedures, risk assessments, and control descriptions.
• Coordinate responses to regulators, external counsel, and consultants; manage evidence trackers and document controls.
