Job summary

GeekSoft Consulting in Eindhoven, Netherlands, is seeking a senior data engineer for a fixed-term engagement focused on building and improving the client’s online platform. You will design ETL pipelines, implement Databricks migrations, and ensure data quality and security standards while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

The role requires 5+ years of data engineering experience with AWS data lake services, Delta Lake, and cloud-native development.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional data engineering experience in enterprise IT.
• Collaborate with managers, IT teams, data scientists and analysts to deliver datasets.
• Design, build, and maintain ETL pipelines for a cloud data lake.
• Develop reusable data models and libraries for analytics and ETL use cases.
• Implement data quality, monitoring, and anomaly detection.
• Embed security/compliance via RBAC, data lineage and auditing.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and continuously improve the clients online platform.
• Research, suggest and implement new technology solutions following best practices.
• Ensure resiliency and availability of different products.
• Be a productive member of the team.
