Job summary

Red Hat B.V. in the Netherlands seeks a Senior Cloud Consultant to lead on-site delivery and implementation of open source cloud solutions for defense customers.

You will work closely with customers to understand infrastructure needs, design architectures, and provide tailored recommendations leveraging Red Hat technologies. The role requires English and Dutch, travel up to 25-50%, and eligibility for security clearance.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in Linux system administration and performance tuning.
• Hands-on experience with OpenShift, Kubernetes, or similar container platforms.
• Strong background in enterprise cloud implementations and business impact assessments.
• Experience with virtualization technologies in large-scale enterprise environments.
• Familiarity with cloud management tools and platforms.
• Proficient in automation technologies such as Red Hat Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.
• Strong communication skills to convey value, progress, and project metrics to stakeholders.
• Excellent problem-solving, project management, and planning abilities.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English and Dutch.
• Willingness to travel up to 25-50%.

Join Red Hat Consulting and lead the on-site delivery and implementation of cutting-edge technologies that empower customers with freedom, flexibility, choice, and performance. As a Senior Cloud Consultant in the Netherlands, you will work closely with our defense customers to understand their infrastructure and business needs, delivering tailored recommendations and technical solutions. You'll leverage your deep expertise in cloud technologies in a dynamic, fast-paced environment to drive adoption of Red Hat’s open source solutions. Must be eligible to obtain security clearance (Dutch national and speaker required).
