About IKNL

At IKNL, we work every day toward one goal: reducing the impact of cancer. We do this by making reliable and independent information about cancer available. This information is based on the Netherlands Cancer Registry (NCR), which has provided insights into the entire care pathway for over 35 years from prevention and diagnosis to treatment, quality of life, and palliative care. We share these insights with healthcare providers, researchers, policymakers, and patients - among other things via kanker.nl, a website we facilitate together with KWF and NFK.

To make an even greater impact, both within oncology and across specialist medical care more broadly, we are joining forces with the Dutch Institute for Clinical Auditing (DICA). Through this partnership, we combine expertise and data to better support and improve the quality of care together.

As of 1 January 2026, DICA and IKNL have merged at the administrative level. We are working towards a full organisational merger in 2027. We are happy to tell you more about it during your interview.

For more information about the vacancy, you can contact Peter Prinsen, Head of Clinical Data Science, at p.prinsen@iknl.nl or +31 6 14 60 40 56.

This vacancy is open to both internal and external candidates. In case of equal suitability, internal candidates will be given priority.

The interviews will take place on Tuesday 18 August (1st round) and Tuesday 25 August (2nd round) in Eindhoven.

We look forward to receiving your application.

We consider the safety and protection of our data and colleagues to be important. That’s why we ask for a Certificate of Conduct (VOG) if you come to work with us. IKNL will reimburse the costs for the VOG. Additionally, pre-screening on social media and/or an assessment may be part of the process.
