Job summary

Teva in the Netherlands seeks a seasoned Director – Category Manager EXM-OSD to own category strategies for externally manufactured OSD products and drive long-term value with suppliers. The role collaborates with Strategic Sourcing, External Manufacturing and Quality to deliver measurable procurement outcomes.

The ideal candidate combines hands-on execution with strategic vision, thriving in ambiguity, and building structured, disciplined procurement processes across a regulated pharma network.

Qualifications

• Experience in Category Management, Strategic Sourcing, or Procurement within pharmaceutical, life sciences, manufacturing, or other regulated industries.
• Experience managing External Manufacturing (EXM), CMO/CDMO partnerships, or strategic supplier relationships.
• Experience leading sourcing initiatives, supplier negotiations, supplier engagement, and cross-functional projects.
• Strong understanding of Oral Solid Dose (OSD) manufacturing, contract manufacturing, or pharmaceutical production networks is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Own assigned OSD categories/product technologies and serve as Teva's category SME.
• Develop and execute strategies aligned with business needs, supplier capabilities, and manufacturing priorities.
• Deliver 3-5 year savings and improvement roadmaps.
• Support demand planning, capacity assessments, sourcing roadmaps, and P&L optimization.
